Please review the enclosed PHOENIX LETTER article about Big Brother type electronic control of individuals via implants, and the cover letter received by all U.S. Senators and Representatives.
This may be of interest to your readership. Those who are tested for drugs on the job, or who have school children who may be given urine tests, may want to think about this new program, now being used against prisoners and enemies of our Government. Prisoners and enemies today, citizens tomorrow.
Historically control methods have been used against editors first, which is the case today in some South American countries, and was the case in the Soviet Union. Absent a lot of uproar from the press and public, the U.S. Government can be expected to extend the experimental and practice use of brain implants against prisoners, and when hardware and software are perfected, to use them against citizens, agents of the press first.
